Rachel Reeves MP, Labour’s Shadow Work and Pensions Secretary, and Stephen Timms MP, Labour’s Shadow Employment Minister, will today set out a five-point plan for older workers. The plan - which a Labour government would introduce - would give older people the support they need with the chance to learn new skills, find work and contribute.
Jamie Reed MP, Labour’s Shadow Health Minister, said:…….
"The number of GPs has fallen under this Government as medical students have seen the pressure Ministers have put on general practice. GP morale has collapsed and now twice as many are emigrating and 60 per cent said they we’re considering early retirement. It’ll take more than a video to undo years of Tory damage.
